My relationship with textiles isn't something I discovered later in
life — it is woven directly into my DNA.
I grew up watching my father, a true pioneer in the Indian textile industry, build the foundations of fabric manufacturing.
From him, I learned to look at a piece of cloth not just as a product, but as an art form that requires deep technical precision, patience, and integrity.
Following in his footsteps, I have spent more than three decades specializing in the knitwear industry. For over 30 years, my daily life has revolved around yarn counts, stitch densities, fabric drapes, and fiber behavior.
I know exactly how a knit loops, how it stretches, how it reacts to dyes, and most importantly, how it behaves against a woman's body.
Yet, as I looked at the modern apparel landscape, I felt a deep frustration. The market was flooded with fast, disposable fashion—flimsy knitwear that loses its shape after one wash, scratches the skin, or clings uncomfortably to the stomach and hips.
I knew that with my family's legacy and my own 30 years of technical expertise, I could build something better.
I created N forniche to bridge the gap between rigorous technical tailoring and effortless, uncompromised sustainable luxury for women who appreciate the finer details.
Our Signature
Our brand signature, Nature Whispers, brings the calming watercolor gradients of the earth to life through advanced textile science. Translating delicate art onto a stretchy knit fabric without ruining its softness is a major technical challenge.
Using my decades of experience, I refused standard, heavy plastic screen-printing methods that block airflow. Instead, we invested in advanced reactive digital printing — chemically fusing our custom water color palettes directly into the cotton yarn at a molecular level.
The fabric stays completely soft, entirely breathable, and the artwork will never crack, peel, or fade over time.
The Craft
Because I understand knitwear structure inside out, I engineered these tees to solve real everyday wardrobe pain points. We selected a heavy, completely opaque 180+ GSM 100% GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton Jersey knit so you never have to worryabout sheerness, and we engineered two distinct comfort profiles.
