Fabric Care

Care, The N Forniche Way

At N forniche, we believe what we wear should feel good — Not only on the skin, but in the choices behind it.

Our pieces are crafted from 100% GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton Jersey and printed using an advanced reactive digital process. Because the dyes molecularly fuse with the yarn rather than stamping on top, your garment's print will never crack or peel.

To maintain the fabric's soft drape and keep the colours pristine, please follow the care guidelines below.

    Machine Wash Cold WithLike Colors

Always wash your tees in cold water. This prevents organic cotton shrinkage and protects the soft water color gradients. Washing with similar colors and fabrics prevents lint transfer and friction damage.

  • Gentle Cycle

Use the delicate setting on your machine. A low spin speed ensures neck facings and side plackets keep their crisp, tailored shapes.

    Only Non-Chlorine BleachIf Needed

Never use standard chlorine bleach. If you need to treat a stain, opt strictly for colour-safe, non-chlorine alternatives. Chlorine will strip the natural lustre from the organic fibres and ruin your prints.

  • Tumble Dry Low

Our heavy-weight 180+ GSM cotton can be tumble-dried, but keep the heat setting on low. High heat breaks down premium knit loops, which can lead to pilling or structural warping.

    Cool Iron If Needed

If your tee requires pressing, use a low/cool heat setting. Iron the tee inside out, lightly pressing seams and facings flat so they hold their shape.

  • Fold, Don't Hang

Because premium organic cotton knits possess a substantial, fluid drape, hanging them for long periods can cause gravity to pull at the shoulders. To completely avoid shoulder sagging or hanger bumps, fold your tees neatly and store them in a cool, dry wardrobe drawer.

A little care, and this piece stays with you for years, not seasons— because thoughtful design is always worth preserving.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of genetically modified seeds and with strict restrictions on synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. The farming practices are designed to be gentler on the soil, water and the people who cultivate the cotton.

    Better By Intention

    Image

From the fibre we choose to the way our garments are created, we believe in making fewer, more thoughtful choices. Organic cotton is one part of that journey.

For us, choosing organic cotton is not about following a trend. It is about making a more considered choice — one that respects nature while creating clothing designed to be lived in.
